To say that sports betting is in my blood is a gross understatement. As long as I can remember, I've always been interested in sports statistics and the process of predicting winners.
In grade school, I remember staying up all night figuring what situations worked and didn't in predicting winners. I was given the name Jimmy the Greek Jr. for hitting 4-team parlay cards - all before high school!
Reading books on sports betting never stopped. In high school, I developed my own Power Ratings for each team in the NFL and college football. I discovered what factors worked best for developing my Power Ratings then started to translate those Power Ratings to basketball teams.
I went to college in the Bay Area Majoring in Business - emphasizing in statistics and probability. I added several factors to my personal power ratings and also developed accurate math models. The main reason you want to rely on numbers is to avoid being emotional - using instincts and regency bias lead sports handicappers to overreact.
During my junior year in college, I started a handicapping service and went public. I earned several Top 10 rankings at The Sports Monitor, including a few #1's - all against some of the biggest names in the Industry.
I moved to Las Vegas in 1992 and continued to run my sports service. I was also affiliated with some of the biggest handicapper "Stables" in the country and made several radio appearances along the way.
I was offered a position at a prominent Sports Book on the Strip and soon became involved in creating and moving sports betting odds. Using my love and background with the mixture of statistics, probabilities and sports - I found a new love and decided to put my Sports Service on hold. Jesse is not a believer in systems, programs or number crunching formulas to handicap games. He is firm in his belief that you aren't playing against the sportsbook, you are playing against the average Joe (other bettors). Jesse is notorious for attacking inflated point spreads, soft lines and totals that are a little out of whack. He also relies on a nearly photographic memory with an uncanny ability to tell you a player's history and stats dating back for decades. Anyone can look up how many touchdowns a guy has scored, Jesse can also tell you about the ones that he almost scored.
What is his strategy for pick rating and bankroll management?
His plays are rated based on a 5-10 star system, and he recommends wagering 0.2 percent of your bankroll per star rating. So a top rated 10* play would represent a bet equal to two percent of a player's bankroll.

2023 SUMMARY: It is imperative that my potential clients read this. My wagering season is over until football season. My objective every year is to be 55 to 65 games over 500 in the 4 sports that I bet. NFL, MLB, NBA and College Football. This year I finished +66 games over 500. In the NFL, I was 53-37 ATS, 59% +16 games. MLB, I was 66-49 59% +17. NBA, I was 66-48 ATS 58% +18 games. Finally, in college football, I was 46-31 ATS %60 +15. My objective is to be 15 games over 500 in each sport. Sometimes there are some flex points that dictate a few extra plays, but for the most part, this is where I draw the line. Because of this, I am strongly considering doing away with my weekly and monthly subscriptions. I ran into some problems this year with those who purchased those subscriptions. In December of 2022, some of the people who purchased weekly and monthly subscriptions were livid that I was only releasing plays in the NBA and not college or pro football. I had already reached my quotas in football. My approach is very similar to playing the stock market. Once I have made my money, I am going to get out before any "regression" occurs. My objective is to make my clients money, not entertain you with games to wager on. If you are serious about winning, or doubling your bankroll for the year, then get on board with the yearly subscription. However, be advised, I only wager on the 4 aforementioned sports.
