The Big 12 closes its regular season with a showdown between ranked opponents in Morgantown. The seventh-ranked Mountaineers of West Virginia will face freshman sensation Cade Cunningham and No. 17 Oklahoma State. Along with the Big Ten, the Big 12 offered teams one of the most brutal schedules of the season. Both teams have their share of outstanding wins. Both would like to add one more to their resume before March Madness. MARCH MADNESS 2021 IS AROUND THE CORNER Game: Oklahoma State Cowboys (17-6, 13-9-1 ATS) at West Virginia Mountaineers (17-7, 13-11 ATS) When: 2:00 PM ET, Saturday, March 6, 2021 Where: WVU Coliseum, Morgantown, West Virginia Current Line: OFF Total: OFF TV Coverage: Critical in the handicapping of this game is that both Oklahoma State and West Virginia will play Thursday night games before meeting each other on Saturday. Our last time we offered a free NBA Race to 20 points prop, and we nailed it! Check it out. The Cowboys will have the tougher task as they face No. 3 Baylor, a team they have lost to in nine of the last ten meetings. When they played in January, Baylor won 81-66. Thursday’s game is on the road for Oklahoma State and then the team travels to West Virginia. The Mountaineers will have a much easier go of it hosting 12-11 TCU before waking up at home to face the Cowboys on Saturday. They might even be featured this weekend over at Action Sports Picks. Oklahoma State has won five straight. They beat No. 16 Oklahoma in consecutive games and also defeated No. 18 Texas Tech. Of those five wins, only a win at Oklahoma was on the road. Prior to the win at Oklahoma, the Cowboys had lost their previous two road games. West Virginia, on the other hand, just lost a tough one to Baylor in overtime on Tuesday. The Mountaineers lost 94-89 as a four-point underdog. It was the first time they hadn’t covered a spread in four games. Saturday’s game should be a battle and it will likely be one in which WVU is the favorite. The Mountaineers were a 1.5-point favorite in Stillwater earlier this year. Oklahoma State’s Cade Cunningham is the best freshman in the country. He is averaging 19.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. He scored 40 on the road in the win over Oklahoma. West Virginia averages 77.6 points per game. Oklahoma State scores 76.6. The Mountaineers have four players that score in double figures led by Miles McBride’s 15.7 per game. They have been a favorite of some of the world’s hottest cappers. West Virginia will be better rested on Saturday and will do what the Mountaineers do best - play aggressive full-court defense and score. Oklahoma State, led by Cunningham, will want another big win to add to the team’s resume. Look for Saturday’s total to be set close to the total that was set when the two teams played in January - 144. Oklahoma State’s last three games have gone over the posted total. The total has gone Over in eight of the last ten Mountaineers’ games. Play Saturday’s total all the way up to 145. NCAAB Free Pick: OVER up to 145
