Yes the Eagles took down a Pac 12 school (WSU), but Oklahoma State is a beast on another level. I don't expect EWU to have much of an answer for Smith, Thompson, or Williams. OK St. gets a home game in Stillwater, and with them being a top seed they do indeed have something to play for. It's a long way to go for this EWU team. Gonzaga -4.5 Round 2 NCAA tournament gambling time on Sunday. This one tips off at 9:40pmET. The #6 TCU Horned Frogs (22-12, 16-17-1 ATS) take on the #3 Gonzaga Bulldogs. (29-5, 13-19-1 ATS), in their first matchup since 1998. In their L10 games the Frogs are 5-5, while on the other side the Zags are 10-0. The winner of this one moves into the Sweet 16 in the 2023 edition of the March Madness tourney. This West Region matchup is mouth-watering. Last game out the Zags took down Grand Canyon with an 82-70 relatively easy victory. The Horned Frogs had a tougher matchup barely getting by ASU 72-70 on a last second shot by JaKobe Coles. Do you honestly expect me to believe that TCU has an answer for Drew Timme? If so, I disagree, the man is a wrecking crew for opponents, playing like a kid possessed. Can one of the worst 3-point teams in the country keep pace with what the Zags will throw at them? I just don't see it. Some trends to note, TCU are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games when playing as the underdog, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games, and 0-6 ATS in their L6 following a straight up win. On the other side the Zags are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss, 16-1 SU in their last 17 games played in March, and finally are 15-5 SU in their last 20 games against an opponent in the Big 12 conference. Rockets +5.5 Sunday NBA association gambling time. This one tips off at 7:10pmET. The New Orleans Pelicans (33-37, 31-39 ATS) get another shot at the Houston Rockets (18-52, 30-38-2 ATS) in the second game of their back to back series. Houston held on to eek out a W on Friday night taking down the Pels 114-112. The Pelicans are 3-8 in their L11. The Rockets are suddenly playing pretty good ball and come in 5-5 in their L10, and 4-1 in their L5 against Western conference teams. Houston also plays pretty well on Sunday's to the tune of 6-3 ATS in their L9. After coming back from 16 on Friday the Rockets put up 22 pts in a row, and they know they can hang with the Pelicans, and my projections call for another W for the Rockets Sunday as they win by 1-4 points. Some trends to note, Houston are 6-2 ATS in March, and 15-5 SU in their L20 when playing the Pelicans. They're also 4-1 ATS in their L5. On the other side the Pels are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game, are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall, and are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 road games. Over 6.5 NHL gambling on Sunday. This one faces off at tips off at 7:07ET. We get the New Jersey Devils (44-17-3-4) taking on the Tampa Bay Lightning (41-22-4-2). The Bolts are currently a -135 ML favorite, (Devils +122), and the O/U is set at 6.5. The Devils come into this game 6-2-0-2 in their L10, and the Lightning are 4-4-2 in their L10. Expected goaltenders in this one are Akira Schmid (8-4-2 1.98GAA, 1 SO) vs. Andrei Vasilevskiy (31-17-4 2.67GAA 2 SO). Saturday night the Devils lost to the Panthers 4-2. While the Bolts took down the Habs 5-3. Brian Elliott made 18 saves out of 21 shots on Saturday, securing his 11th win of the season. As a result, we anticipate seeing Vasilevskiy on Sunday. In their previous match on Thursday, the Lightning defeated the Devils 4-3 in a shootout, with Stamkos contributing two goals and an assist for while playing in New Jersey. My projections call for 7-8 goals on Sunday. (Expect a 5-2, kind of game) Some trends to note, Devils are 1-4 in their last 5 vs. Atlantic, and 1-4 in their last 5 vs. a team with a winning record. In their L10 games SM are 7-3 and averaging 70PPG, while on the other side the Huskies are 8-2 while averaging 77PPG. The winner of this one moves into the Sweet 16 in the 2023 edition of the March Madness tourney. This East Region matchup is a nice looking matchup on paper, and I'm expecting offense. Last game out Iona had their win streak snapped by a really good UConn team that looks like it's rounding into form at just the right time. They won by 24 (87-63) The Gaels took down #12 VCU 63-51. If you missed the Huskies last game you missed one of the most dominant games we've ever seen in this tournament. Adama Sanogo put up 28 points and backed that up with 13 boards. Together with Donovan Clingan UConn will own the glass Sunday. Some trends to note, with the Gaels being 5-1 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games I can make a case for a game that stay's offensively minded and tight into the later stages of the second half. Also, the OVER is 6-2 in UConn's last 8 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. The OVER has also hit in 6 of STM's L8 games in March, and 4 of UConn's L5 games against a West Coast conference opponent. UConn is 1-0 all time vs. Saint Mary's. Kentucky -2.5 The #6 Kentucky Wildcats (22-11, 16-16-1 ATS) & the #3 Kansas State Wildcats (24-9, 21-12 ATS) lock horns on Sunday in Round of 32 tournament gambling today at 2:40pm ET. UK comes into this one 6-4 in their L10, while K-State comes in 6-4 in their L10 as well. The line opened at Kentucky -1. The winner of this East region matchup gets a Sweet 16 berth next week at MSG in New York. In round 1 K-State won by 12 over Montana State in a game that really wasn't all that close. Kentucky took down Providence 61-53 in their round 1 matchup. UK has now won at least 20 games for the 31st time in the last 33 seasons, talk about consistency. KState has the offense to keep this game close but UK is going to own the glass, and the inside scoring, and I think that's enough to give them the cover on Sunday. My projections call for a 3-5 pt win by UK. Remember the name Oscar Tshiebwe. UK will control the possession, and their defense will be a difference maker against a tough K-State team. The Wildcats are 1-9 all time versus UK.
