The NFL preseason clipboard from Grandmaster Handicapper Joe Duffy.
Redskins-Falcons
Birds rookie first-round draft pick S Keanu Neal is questionable. For Atlanta, Matt Ryan and top backup Matt Schaub will be the first two quarterbacks in the game, followed by Sean Renfree and Matt Sims. Ryan and other starters are expected to have limited playing time. Some first- and second-team players may remain on the field longer.
Linebacker, wide receiver and tight end have emerged as the deepest and most competitive positions in training camp.
For the Skins, TE Jordan Reed is out. 75 percent of totals bets on the under.
Buccaneers-Eagles
Eagles RB Jordan Matthews will be sidelined for a few weeks, but Pederson is hopeful Matthews will be back by the team's third preseason game. Rookie Carson Wentz will receive the bulk of the second-half snaps for Philly.
Philadelphia starters and Sam Bradford will get 1-3 series depending on number of snaps each lasts and then backup QB Chase Daniels and the second team will follow.
Among those out for Philadelphia: offensive tackle Jason Peters, safety Malcolm Jenkins, linebacker Mychal Kendricks, wide receiver Jordan Matthews, defensive end Marcus Smith, defensive tackle Mike Martin, wide receiver Marcus Johnson and cornerback JaCorey Shepherd will all be sidelined. This is a good portion of their starters.
For Tampa wide receiver Vincent Jackson and running back Charles Sims are questionable. The defense has outplayed the offense in practice so far. 72 percent of bets on the over.
Jaguars-Jets
Jets thinned at RB with injuries. Jets RB Matt Forte is out. Jags talented youth has many believing this is a team on verge of breaking out. Jags focused on offense getting off to quicker starts this season.
Panthers-Ravens
The Ravens are without many key players including outside linebackers Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil, wide receivers Steve Smith and Breshad Perriman and running back Lorenzo Talaiferro. Joe Flacco is expected to be rested as a precaution, meaning 13 players will likely be out for Baltimore.
This game under biggest consensus at 86 percent.
Saints-Patriots
NE thinned at RB. Dion Lewis hasn’t practiced and the same goes for Donald Brown and D.J. Foster recently. That has left Tyler Gaffney with the bulk of the carries in training camp. They also lack depth at LB.
Saints biggest consensus side, though a modest 60 percent.
Broncos-Bears
Chicago very thin on interior offensive line. Many believe Bears QB Jay Cutler will miss OC Adam Gase, now the HC in Miami. Denver has Mark Sanchez and Trevor Siemian are listed as co-starters at quarterback. First-round pick Paxton Lynch remains the No. 3 quarterback.
For Bears: first stringers will play the first quarter, second will play the second and third, and third will be the fourth quarter. Injuries have Chicago thin at LB. However, they have a lot of depth at DB and have young players battling for position.
