This is an interesting series with the veteran Warriors against the youthful (for the most part) Celtics. During the regular season each team won at the other team’s place with the Celtics winning at Golden State in the last meeting 110-88 and the Warriors won in Boston in the first meeting of the year 111-107. Boston went 51-31 during the regular season with 23-18 road record. Golden State went 53-29 on the year and 31-10 at home. Golden State won their first round series in 5 over Denver winning three times at home, in the second round Golden State took on Memphis and won in six games winning three times at home, and in the conference finals Golden State won in five over Dallas winning 3 times at home. Boston swept the Nets in their opening round series winning twice on the road, in the second round Boston was pushed to seven games against Milwaukee and won it in seven winning going 2-1 on the road in that series, and in the conference finals against Miami, Boston was taken to seven games and won with a 3-1 road record. Boston is 7-2 on the road these playoffs, but Golden State is a perfect 9-0 at home this postseason. This is going to be an interesting series with some unusual wins with comebacks and road victories, but in the end it will be Golden State winning in six and Steph Curry will finally win his NBA Finals MVP that has been eluding him.
