But seriously, DC Vance Joseph has his 3-4 base defensive scheme humming as that SAME Broncos "D" has yielded 9.7 PPG over their last 3 & rank 3rd in passing defense & 2nd in total defensive on the season. They're fresh off recording 5 sacks against a NY Jets squad that failed to sack Denver rookie QB Bo Nix once. They take on a Las Vegas group (1-3 In The Stats) that's still in search for an identity in a season that's just surviving @ 2-2 SU. They're off a 20-16 home win over lowly Cleveland but have yet to put together 2 good games thus far. QB Gardner Minshew is back under center for an offense that has a big void to fill in the running back category ranking 31st on the ground (76 YPG) & has his key receiver/deep threat WR Davante Adams asking for a trade (unlikely to dress here). Even with a full arsenal, the Silver & Black offense has registered over 300 total yards just once. I further feel The Broncos offense should have some success considering the Raiders main cog on defense DE Maxx Crosby is either out or playing hurt. With HIM in, they only rank 30th in defensive yards per rush. The Orange & Blue have momentum coming in off 2 consecutive upset wins over Tampa Bay & the New York Jets. My bottom line says it's hard to back HC Antonio Pierce's entry without their best players on both sides of the ball not in & @ 100%. The key advantage here is the PROTECTION Bo Nix is getting that ranks 1st in the league. It should only take game-managed execution by Nix & watch the "D" do their job.
