Arkansas vs. Auburn (NCAAF) - 3:30 PM EDT Premium Pick
Pick: Point Spread: +2.5/-110 Arkansas Rating: 8* Mike's SEC Game Of The Week (WIN)
One thing I know for sure, HC Sam Pittman (9-3 ATS as an away dog) can travel n the SEC. Last season, Arkansas lost 34-31 @ LSU, he lost @ Mississippi 27-20, lost @ Alabama 24-21 & won @ Florida 39-36. EVERY game went to the wire. This season, he brings back Bobby Petrino as his OC (Petrino went 21-5 SU as HC in 2010-11) whose perfect for grooming in Boise State transfer & dual-threat QB Taylen Green (threw for 416 @ Oklahoma State 2 weeks ago where they lost in double OT). Green will be reminded from the veterans about last season's 48-10 drubbing they took @ the hands of these same Tigers @ Razorback Stadium. I feel Auburn & HC Hugh Freeze are a little too cozy as this game represents their 6 straight regular season game @ home dating back to last season. In their only big game this year, they failed versus California 21-14 just 2 weeks ago as 12-point favorites. My bottom line looks @ a distracted Auburn squad who has 2 games immediately ahead with Oklahoma & Georgia. The database further shows teams (AUBURN) in their 4th straight home game of 5 versus teams off a double-digit win AND are chalk of less than 6, their record versus the number show a shutout 0-4-1 mark. Flipping to the other side, Pittman as a road dog with revenge not as an undefeated team shows just the opposite, an undefeated 7-0 ATS record. I'm ready to hop to Alabama's Jordan-Hare Stadium to play the ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS (buying to + 4 1/2 @ -141 for 8 Stars) as my SEC Game of the Week!
Baylor vs. Colorado (NCAAF) - 8:00 PM EDT Premium Pick
Pick: Point Spread: +1.5/-110 Baylor Rating: 9* Mike's CFB Public Missed Perception Play/Strongest Play On Board (LOSS)
Here's a matchup rekindled from the Big 12 back in 2010. Baylor HC Dave Aranda is another HC usually travels well as witnessed by 2 outright upsets last season @ Central Florida 36-35 & @ Cincinnati 32-29. While there's a sense of urgency after last season's 3-9 debacle, the Bears have jumped out 2-1 with alone 23-12 loss @ always tough Utah. In college football, it's all about the QB & they get a Toledo transfer Daquan Finn whose built to handle OC Jake Spavital's up-tempo spread offense. For this one, I think DEFENSES travel & the better one sits on the Baylor sideline. DC Matt Prowledge plays an aggressive 3-4 scheme that's ranked 16th in the country in points allowed (10) & rank 21st against the pass (144). In comparison versus a like schedule, the Buffaloes' "D" has yielded 21 PPG thus far & are also 2-1 SU like the Bears. They'll face a 3-headed coin in the Baylor backfield of RB's Dawson Pendergrass, Richard Reese & Bryson Washington who've all rushed for over 100 yards thus far. Coach Prime (Deion Sanders) has his son Shadeur Sanders back @ QB to an offense who a little pass-heavy which is Baylor's strength. My bottom line says it will be difficult for Colorado to separate from a tough Bears' squad who show better overall talent on both sides of the ball. I question if the Buffaloes' tank is on full after last week's battle with intrastate rival Colorado State. Let's roll into Folsom Field in Boulder to play the BAYLOR BEARS (buying to + 3 1/2 @ -165 for 9 stars) as my CFB Public Missed Perception Play/Strongest Play On Board! In addition, I'll add a 3-Teamer Hi-Roller Parlay on Illinois (Friday) + 14 1/2 with Duke ML & Baylor + 7 @ +105 odds. (8 Stars) Duke ML 8 Stars (WIN). In my High-Roller Parlay, we're pulling up 2 dandies alone with a 2-Team Moneyliner also on James Madison +320 & East Carolina +230. The payback on the 2-teamer will be @ +1286!
