Milwaukee Brewers(EVEN) at the Houston Astros(-120)

The Astros just dropped 2 straight in Philly and have now lost 4 in a row including seven of their last nine. Sounds crazy that Vegas sets them as the home favorite tonight to the Milwaukee Brewers who are off an impressive 8-0 shutout win last night in New York. Bud Norris gets the start for the Astros and this guy's been heating up, posting an ERA at 1.45 over his past three starts. Randy Wolf will take the mound for Milwaukee and he's had his struggles this year, putting up an ERA of 5.63. Another little trend to look at is Houston hasn't cashed an Over in their last eight games while the Brewers have gone Over the Total in 4 of their last 5 games. The Total is a tough call for tonight's contest but we got to lean towards the Astros as the small home favorite at -120.

Philadelphia Phillies(+135) at the Chicago Cubs(-150)

The Cubs open a brief 2 game series with the Phillies and it's just odd to see the 15-21 Chicago Cubs at -150 to the Philadelphia Phillies. Philly has now won three straight including 4 of their last 5, not making much sense to see them now at +135. Tonight's pitching matchup features Kyle Kendrick against Matt Garza. Garza has been dominate against the Phillies since moving over from Tampa Bay. In his last three starts to the Phillies he's allowed just 2 runs over 20 innings while striking out 19 and walking just 7. Kyle Kendrick gets the start for Philly and his 7.32 ERA is a little misleading. He gave up 7 runs in just 3 innings in his first start of the year to the Diamondbacks. Since then he's allowed just 3 runs in his last 2 starts. The Cubs have now gone Over the Total in their last 5 games, the Under is a strong lean. The Cubs at -150 raises an eyebrow so we'll back the Cubbies and the Under for tonight's contest.
