EAST REGION This region is loaded. On any given day SEEDS 4 to 11 can beat anyone. This will make this bracket a mess trust me when trying to predict who will advance. Vandy gets rewarded a 5 SEED for winning the SEC Championship? Did committee have them at a 7 seed prior. Vandy should have a 3 to 4 SEED in my estimation. They could be in danger in the 1st round against a talented Harvard team. The Commodores have a great nucleus of veterans and inside and outside game. Dont be surprised once they get past Harvard and Wisconsin if they beat Syracuse. A lot of talk is about OSU being the favored to get out of this bracket. Heres the problem. Buford and company have shown they cant shoot the 3 point shot with any consistency. Florida State could be a problem on the way and the Syracuse zone will make them hit outside shots.

Big question is how is UNCs Hensons health. Williams said he will ready for tournament but might sit him out 2nd round. They will need him when they face a Creigton team that will beat Bama. Creighton is very very dangerous. They have the best shooting team period in the nation. There defense is suspect so a 100-85 lose to UNC will not be a surprise. Temple is another team that nobody wants to play. Yes, they laid an egg in the Atlantic 10 Tourny but that will not matter. They have 3 guys that can create from the dribble and a big enough team to give UNC/Kansas trouble. Kansas will stroll through their bracket. I know Gtown better than anyone. They are a good team but have a lot of deficiencys. Sweet 16 the furthest they will go.

SOUTH

With the exception of UCONN and Witchita State I do not see anyone that would knock off Kentucky. Unfortunate for Kentucky these two teams could be playing them early. Witchita State does everything well. A smaller version of Kentucky but with Veterans that are poised to go a long way. Indiana is suffering from injury to backup point guard and could be a little thin. Duke is Duke. Kelly needs to be on the floor here. Baylor could play Kentucky or loose early. Chemistry seems to be lacking. UNLV has a nice chance to go far also but must get by New Mexico St. That will not be an easy task against a great rebounding team.

My Pick - Kentucky Dark Horse- Wichita State- Shockers can beat Kentucky. They have 5 Seniors and a 7 Footer at Center to give Kentucky a scare. In other words, whoever wins this game goes to the FINAL FOUR!

Spartans have been a surprise to me. No matter how many times I look at tape etc. I am never impressed with the 'EYE' test. This is what great Chemistry and Coaching does.They just WIN. Problem for them is they will be hte 1st #1 SEED knocked off. There are too many talented teams in this draw. Memphis, New Mexico, Murray State, LB State, Louville, and Florida are all worthy of being in Final Four. Missouri is the question mark. They are so difficult to defend. However, a Marquette team could easily derail them from going to Elite 8. This is the bracket that will be a mess. The Black marker will get plenty of exercise in this bracket:)

Conclusion: This will be one of the most Entertaining Tournaments in a long time. Last year to me was a dissappointment. Look for some Shockers early!
