Game 611. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. Both Wisconsin and Michigan State are playing their first Big Ten action of the campaign. The Badgers come here running red-hot, riding a five-game, straight up winning streak. This includes SU and ATS victories over such notables as Virginia and Marquette, beating both of those teams outright as ‘dogs are 3.5 points in each contest. On the other hand, Michigan has been struggling. They have really only stepped up once in class this season, and that resulted in a nine-point loss against Duke. Obviously, these two teams know each other very well. And they play each other very closely, as the last two games were decided by a combined 10-points. As of posting this play, the only significant questionable injuries are on the Spartan’s side as forward, Hall and guard, Walker are both listed as questionable today. Always do your due diligence and check the injury status on every game, especially when it comes to college basketball. These two teams, as of this point in the season, have very similar statistics on both sides of the court. However, one thing that really stands out to me is the Badgers ferocious rebounders on the defensive boards. They currently rank second in the nation on the defensive glass. As you know, these two teams play very physical basketball, and those defensive rebounds are going to be huge here. Furthermore, I expect another physical meeting between these Big Ten rivals. This will certainly benefit Wisconsin, as they are significantly stronger from the free-throw line. This is going to be a very competitive contest. Therefore, I am siding with Wisconsin. Thank you.
