In my opinion, streaks and trends play apart in all major sports, but maybe even more in the NHL. Right now, Winnipeg is struggling while Anaheim is surging. The Jets have only four victories of their last 10 outings while the Ducks are an 8-2 run. Anaheim also comes in here with the confidence of knowing they took the only meeting against Winnipeg this season, at the beginning of November at home, 4-1. That was a third victory of the last four meetings with tonight’s opponent. Sporting an overall home record of 18-8-1, the Ducks are one of the best teams in the Western Conference when playing on their own ice. Meanwhile, the Jets have struggled on the road, going just 11-15-3 away from home this season. The advantages don't just stop there, my friends. Without question, Anaheim possesses the better scoring offense, and come into this contest, a bit healthier.
