West Virginia has struggled early, entering with a 2-3 record, while BYU is riding high as an undefeated 4-0 team, making them a popular choice among bettors. The Cougars have covered the spread in four of their last five games, keeping them firmly on the radar. In contrast, West Virginia has failed to cover in their last two outings. However, I’m not sold on BYU’s resume. Their wins over Stanford, ECU, and Colorado don’t justify laying this many points against a capable Mountaineers squad.
