Sometimes, picking the lesser of two evils is the only way to go in sports betting. Today in a National League matchup we see two of the worst teams in baseball facing each other as the Washington Nationals travel to Great America Ball Park to take on the Cincinnati Reds. Funny thing is, Cincinnati is starting to show signs of life. They have won five of the last six outings behind both some good solid hitting and some outstanding pitching. As a matter of fact, over the last six contests, they’ve accounted for 38 runs while only allowing 18. On the other hand, Washington is finding new and improved ways to lose. Statistically, they possess the worst overall record in the NL at 18-34. They dwell in the East cellar 17 GB. Today they send Adon to the hill. He has made 10 appearances this season. And the team has lost nine of those 10 appearances. He dons an ugly record of 1-8 with a 6.08 ERA, walking 29 batters in just 47 innings pitched. Ashcraft is scheduled at home. He’s only made two appearances this season, pitching over 10 innings, allowing just two earned runs, sporting a 1-1 record with a 1.69 ERA. The team is very excited about him. This is the first meeting between these two teams this season. But going back to last season, Cincinnati took three straight and five of the seven meetings in 2021. They are also 6-2 the last eight during Game 1 of a series and 5-2 the last seven vs. the NL East. Take the Reds today. It’s a winner. Thank you.
