Free Pick on Wisconsin - I know the Big Ten is down this year, but I think the committee really overreacted when seeding the teams from the Big Ten. Purdue is the highest seed of any team in the conference at No. 4. I think it has a lot of these Big Ten teams showing great value, especially a team like Wisconsin, who finished 2nd in the regular season standings and was runner-up in the Big Ten Tournament. This is a veteran team that can get after you defensively and I look for them to have their way with the Hokies. Virginia Tech had some nice wins, but almost all of them came at home. They struggled against better competition on the road and I think that's going to be the difference here. Virginia Tech also plays little to no defense, as they allowed nearly 80 ppg on the road (78.2). Note that the Badgers are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 as a favorite of a 6.5 or less, 5-1 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games and 15-6 in their last 23 against the ACC. Take Wisconsin!
