Virginia Tech comes into this game fresh off a tough loss in their second game of the season against Virginia but at 11-14 on the season and 6-8 in the ACC things aren’t exactly heading in the kind of direction that leads to a NCAA Tournament berth. This squad has been playing some decent offense recently and the defensive numbers aren’t horrible as they continue to play at a high effort level. Boston College has dropped four in a row and while they did keep things competitive against Notre Dame I’m not overreacting for a team that is only 2-12 in the ACC this season. This squad is terrible on the boards and while they have a good leading scorer in Donald Hand Jr this team doesn’t put up very good offensive numbers. Take Virginia Tech on the road in this one where they are a very solid 5-2 ATS on the season. Boston College is only 5-9 ATS at home this season and they are straight up not looking good at all right now no matter where they play.
