This Saturday, we take a bite out of the books as I will SWEEP THE NCAAF BOARD: RIVALRY GAME OF THE WEEK, ACC ANNIHILATOR, MSU/MICHIGAN, SEC GAME OF THE MONTH, & NO LIMIT. Get them all and bring a broom because WE ARE SWEEPING! Saturday’s FREE WINNER: Texas Longhorns. Game 179. 1:15 PM PST/4:15 PM EST. Texas comes off their first loss of the season, and dropped in the rankings from No. 1 down to No. 5. There are a few teams ahead of them in the polls that are undefeated. So, the Longhorns must keep their foot on the gas here. To be honest, I don't see why they can't run gauntlet the rest of the season, and win out with games remaining against the Gators, Razorbacks, Wildcats, and Aggies. If they do so, they will guarantee themselves a spot in the CFP. Now Vanderbilt is a respectful 5-2, both straight up and against the spread this season. They are riding a three-game SU hot streak, with high-profile victories over Alabama and Kentucky. But I do feel this will be the toughest defense they have faced thus far. The Commodore’s average over 33.1 points per game. but must line up against the No. 1 stop-unit in total yards, No. 2 in passing yards, No. 21 in rushing yards, and the top “D” in the nation in points allowed (9.7 PPG). I do see Texas, and their 15th ranked passing unit shredding the Vandy secondary here. The shoe drops on the Commodores here as the clock strikes midnight. Take the Longhorns. Thank you.
