This is a potential letdown spot for Texas coming off their emotional 23-6 win over heated rival Oklahoma. It can be tough refocusing effort coming off such a big result, especially when going on the road against an opponent you might be overlooking. Texas has been much better in the state of Texas than on the road, particularly on the offensive side of the ball losing at Ohio State and Florida. In their recent loss at Florida, Texas became very one dimensional putting up just 53 rushing yards. We actually feel Kentucky is a little better than their numbers would indicate and this is a great opportunity for the Wildcats to try and prove themselves coming back home after playing their last 2 outings on the road. Kentucky has shown better results at home including a competitive SEC loss against red hot Ole Miss. We like what we’ve been seeing from new Kentucky starting QB Boley, but the real strength of the Wildcats comes with their strong stable of backs. This has the ingredients to be a competitive contest and we like the home team getting the considerable amount of points as a solid bet.
