Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Tennessee Titans vs. New York Giants
Sunday, September 27, 2026 1:00 PM
Play: Point Spread: -2.5/-110 New York Giants
Take #468 Giants Over Titans The New York Giants took a major blow with second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart suffering a season-ending knee injury, but this team still has an opportunity to turn things around. Veteran Jameis Winston now steps into the starting role, and the biggest advantage heading into Sunday is that he will have a full week of practice with the first-team offense. Winston has certainly had his share of turnovers throughout his career, but he has also demonstrated the ability to make big plays through the air and with his legs. He has thrown for more than 5,000 yards in a season and has 156 career touchdown passes. With the Giants able to adjust the offense to Winston's strengths, we expect a much more comfortable performance than his 11-for-27 effort against the Rams. The matchup with Tennessee is also appealing. The Titans are 0-2 and coming off a heartbreaking 24-20 loss to Philadelphia after allowing the Eagles to drive 65 yards for the game-winning touchdown with just nine seconds remaining. Tennessee has shown flashes, but consistency has been an issue, particularly around second-year quarterback Cam Ward. There is also plenty of familiarity on the other side. Former Giants head coach Brian Daboll now calls the plays for Tennessee, while former New York receiver Wan'Dale Robinson returns to face his old team. Those storylines are interesting, but the Giants have the home-field advantage and a favorable stretch of games ahead. New York will also have motivation to respond after Monday night's disappointing loss, while Winston has an opportunity to establish himself as the team's leader moving forward. With the Giants getting the benefit of a full week to prepare around their new starting quarterback, we expect a competitive performance at home.
