Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Tampa Bay Rays vs. San Francisco Giants
Saturday, August 16, 2025 9:05 PM
Play: Money Line: 107 Tampa Bay Rays
The Tampa Bay Rays will continue their interleague play on Saturday when they battle the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park. The Tampa Bay Rays just stole one last night as the Giants couldn't get it done. The Rays bats were alive, scoring 7 runs. Meanwhile, the Giants have now lost 7 in a row and look lost. The San Francisco Giants's starter on Saturday will be right-hander Justin Verlander. He was hounded in his last start by the left handers and the Rays have a good number of LHB in the lineup. Verlander just allowed 5 runs in 5 innings to the Nationals. Tampa Bay has won 4 out of their last 5 meetings with the Giants. SF lost a deflating game last night. I expect the Rays to have the edge on the mound today with Houser.
