These two teams split out the first two games of this series, with Tampa Bay taking Game 1 (8-4), and then Boston taking Game 2 (2-0). But today the Rays send Nick Martinez to the mound who is 3-1 with a 1.71 ERA. Over his last three starts, the RH is a perfect 3-0 with a mere 0.90 ERA. The team has also won six of Martinez’s seven starts this season. The Red Sox counter with Payton Tolle who is 1-1 with a 2.04 ERA, with the team losing two of his three starts. Tampa Bay is the better team, running hotter, and has the better pitcher on the mound. I put out this game yesterday for my free play, but it was postponed. But I still like the Rays today.
