Syracuse should be closer to a 5- or 6-point favorite here. They’ve won and covered both outings this season against Colgate and Western Michigan. Purdue took a loss at home against a team they should have beaten on paper, Fresno State. And then they did win on the road and cover against Virginia Tech, but the Hokies were without one of their best players and their quarterback left early. The Orange took last September’s meeting 32-29 and come in here with confidence. This is the last chance for Syracuse to get in sync before some tough conference play. Lay the points with the Orange.
