Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Seattle Mariners vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
Thursday, June 25, 2026 12:35 PM
Play: Money Line: -148 Seattle Mariners
The Pittsburgh Pirates and Seattle Mariners will each be trying to gain the upper hand as both teams have won a game in this series. The Pirates are coming off of an 11-1 blow out win against the Mariners yesterday.
Bubba Chandler gets nod for the Pittsburgh Pirates in this one. He is 2-6 on the year with a 4.57 ERA. Chandler has been inconsistent this year but a reduction of his slider usage gave him his best start of the season when he pitched 6 innings of 2 run ball against the Rockies. I'm not counting on him continuing that trend.
The Seattle Mariners will be wheeling out right-hander Bryce Miller in this one. He is 3-1 with a 1.58 ERA. Miller has been outstanding recently, allowing just 3 earned runs in his last 29.2 innings on the mound.
The Seattle Mariners have gone 17-12 when playing NL-Central opponents in their last 29. Seattle is 7-3 in their last 10 taking on the Pirates.
Take the Mariners this afternoon.
