San Diego is very shifty, they can accelerate on the bases and make moves in a few seconds. Pittsburgh is going to have a problem keeping them from getting in scoring position. The Pirates will not be able to save their defense from getting worn out trying to keep the Padres contained - their 4.22 runs /game is a tough handle. Pittsburgh are going to get lit up with their defensive scheme. I am actually excited to see this game - more so than I thought I would be to watch. I'm expecting a competitive game, as San Diego have been playing well of late, winning 75% of their games since 4.17.2022. But Pittsburgh needs to turn up its defense another notch and must get better on the mound, and with a 4.39 team ERA - that is something that needs to get cleaned up. San Diego bounces back with a win here on Sunday afternoon!
