This is a free play on Samford. When Bill Self decided to rest his best players for the conference tournament, I thought it was a solid strategy. Get them the rest they need to get 100 percent ready for the NCAA Tournament. When we learned that Kevin McCullar is out for the ENTIRE Tournament due to a bone bruise, I was floored. This doesn't make a lot of sense, and I think there must be something up behind the scenes. Lets face it, Kansas is going to miss their best scorer, and one of the best players in the country. They were not great even with him this season, finishing 6th in the BIG12. Samford shoots for a higher percentage from the field, from beyond the arc, and at the free throw line.
