Remember, my friends, sportsbetting isn't about who wins, it is about who covers. If you're like me and you look at ATS trends and streaks, in games the Bonnies have played of at least 2.5-point favorites, they're just 3-11 against the number this season, and overall, sport and ugly ATS record of 9-17 on the campaign. Getting 2.5-points or more this season, the Rams are 6-4 ATS, and come in to this matchup covering five of their last nine overall games, which includes three ATS covers in the five games played on the road during that span. I believe they come in here undervalued because this time of year being competitive has a lot to deal with momentum. They are certainly playing a little bit better basketball than the home team ST Bonny. The home team has dropped seven of the last 10 SU, and six of those 10 ATS, which includes losses and no covers in four straight games played on their own court. Even if they win out their rest of the regular season outings, Rhode Island will still finish with just 19-wins on the regular season which is very respectful, and right now they currently sit at 6-8 in Atlantic 10 play and can certainly finish over .500. While their offense does account for a few points less than their opponent, their defense is significantly more frustrating, and I feel that will play a significant part in this matchup.
