This is a free play on CUSE. So the Orange opened the season with a blowout win over Louisville in Week 1, but the question heading into Saturday's home game against Purdue is: "Is Syracuse for real?" Well I think they are. This is a team that has already proven to have a strong defense, and that is particularly true at home in the Carrier Dome. Their shortcoming last year was their offense, but new OC Robert Anae has QB Garrett Shrader firing on all cylinders. Purdue has a solid quarterback, and they looked pretty good at home versus Penn State. This ain't Indiana though, this a whole different ball game on the road.
