Been waiting to get the hook on this line. The new look Steelers and the new look Jets face off to open their season. Both teams desperately want to get off on the right foot. The Steelers have Aaron Rodgers who they are hoping can lead them to the promise land. This line is capped like Rodgers is still a viable NFL QB though. Projections on Rodgers are too high, expecting him to get back to an 80 QBR. I doubt it. Revenge game for Justin Fields who signed with the Jets on a 2 year deal. The Jets extended WR Garrett Wilson and CB Sauce Gardner, and added depth across the roster, including RB Lawrance Toafili and defensive pieces like DE Brandon Stephens. New York has a deep RB room with Hall, Allen, and Toafili. Not to mention Fields is basically a running back under center. New York has an underrated O-Line, I expect they could contend to rank inside the top 10. I'm expecting a close game and Rodgers to perform worse than expected with the Jets surprising. Jets cover this one in a close game. Pittsburgh 21 - Jets 20.
