The Phoenix Suns head to Golden State to take on the Warriors on opening night of the NBA regular season. The Suns had quite the offseason adding Bradley Beal into the mix with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. On top of the addition of a premier scorer the Suns have tried to rework their entire bench unit adding in Grayson Allen, Yuta Wantanabe and Eric Gordon among others. The big question in the starting lineup is going to be the defensive play of Jusuf Nurkic and if you would ask someone like Damian Lillard, I think he would tell you not to bank on him being a good defender or on him being available to play. The Warriors have looked solid in the preseason with Chris Paul on the floor with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson but there could be trouble brewing in Golden State. Klay Thompson was unable to reach an agreement with the team on an extension and right now Draymond Green’s availability for opening night is up in the air due to an ankle issue.
