Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Philadelphia Phillies vs. Tampa Bay Rays
Tuesday, July 04, 2023 4:10 PM
Play: Money Line: -140 Tampa Bay Rays
I HAVE FIREWORKS FOR YOU TODAY! I predicted a sweep yesterday in baseball, and that is exactly what I did! We started off the week going 3-0 on the diamond. Today, I have my strongest release in weeks, in my MLB DOUBLE PLAY, which are UNSTOPPABLE, winning 4 of the L5, and are a remarkable, +8 units this season. Join me with this big game winner and win big this July 4th. Tuesday’s FREE WINNER: Tampa Bay Rays. Game 976. 1:10 PM, PST/4:10 PM, EST. I feel the line in this game is a little short, my friends. Maybe the odds makers are looking to trap you, making you overthink the fact that the Tampa Bay Rays come into the series opener with the Philadelphia Phillies, dropping their last two games. Yes, granted they split out their last 10 overall contests. But let’s not forget this team owns the best overall record in the American League, and the best overall home record in the Majors. They are a whopping, 34-10 at Tropicana Field this season. As I mentioned a bit ago, don’t get caught in a trap. When a team has played at the level Tampa Bay has been playing, there will some losses. The Rays have dominated the Phillies, taking seven consecutive meetings in this Interleague matchup. By the way, that does include all five games played at home. Not only has Tampa Bay been successful when hosting IL opponents, winning 41 of their last 53 in that situation, more specifically, they have truly dominated the National League East, winning 41 of the last 55 versus the division. Aaron Nola and Zach Eflin are scheduled starters here. The Phillies right-hander is 7-5 with a 4.51 ERA on the campaign. Over his career, he is 0-2 with a 3.72 ERA against the Rays. The Tampa Bay right-hander is 9-3 with a 3.29 ERA in 2023. The team has won 12 of his 15 starts this season. FYI, he is a perfect 8-0 with a 2.17 ERA at home. Both on the mound and at the plate, the Phillies are overmatched. The Rays are 10-4 in their last 14 games following an off day, 20-8 in their last 28 during Game 1 of the series, and 52-18 in their last 70 home games. Take Tampa Bay. Thank you.
