They enter today’s matchup looking to redeem themselves against a team they have dominated. They have taken seven of the last 10 meetings with the St. Louis Cardinals. They send Aaron Nola to the hill. The right-hander has owned the Cardinals over his career, boasting a record of 8-3, with a 2.56 ERA in 13 starts against them. That would be enough for me to raise an eyebrow here. However, the Cardinals pitching staff has been absolutely deplorable, ranking 29th in the Majors with a Team ERA of 5.24. They send Andre Pallante to the bump. The right-hander is 0-1 with a 7.45 ERA in six career outings against the Phillies, which does include one start.
