Guys, I am well aware the Wildcats are playing their fifth consecutive game away from home, against their fifth different power conference. But I still feel this is way too many points for the Badgers to lay. Yes, Wisconsin has taken the last four meetings in this rivalry, but they were by eight, nine, six, and seven-points. The Badgers last took the court on November 28 on the road, in which they lost to the Horned Frogs, 74-63, their second loss over their three previous outings. They are also pointspread poison, failing to cover three of their last four, and four of their seven overall outings this season. Northwestern has had an extra day to rest and prepare for this matchup, and come in here following a heartbreaking loss at home against Oklahoma State, 86-81. They took down South Carolina prior to that, and just before that lost a heartbreaker but covered on the road at Virginia. Wiscy opened their season up with four straight victories, all over doormat opponents. When their schedule got a little tougher, they started to struggle a bit. I am not trying to say Northwestern is on the same level as BYU or TCU, but I feel this is a lot of points to give a team that is very familiar with the Badgers. While the Wildcats offense isn't as explosive, their defense is certainly more frustrating. They also shoot a lot better from downtown, and protect the perimeter better as well. I just feel this is way too many points, my friends. Take Northwestern.
