Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Northern Illinois vs. Toledo
Wednesday, November 05, 2025 7:00 PM
Play: Point Spread: -14.5/-110 Toledo
I passed LN, waiting for the perfect situation to BREAK THE BOOKS, and today I have that situation: NCAAF MAC MONEY MAKER, 10-2 NHL POWER PLAY, 2-0 NBA FAST BREAK, and 1-0 NBA ODDSMAKERS MISTAKE. Join me today, and together WE WILL BREAK THE BOOKS. Wednesday’s FREE WINNER: Toledo Rockets. Game 108. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. Sitting at an even .500, at 4-4 overall, the Toledo Rockets are looking to become bowl-eligible with two more victories. To be honest, they have a tough remaining schedule, but can certainly finish out the regular season with bowl-eligibility. But it all starts with a victory here tonight. They enter this matchup coming off a road loss 11 days ago at the hands of Washington State, 28-7. There is something you should know about the Rockets, they are a perfect 4-0, both straight up and against the spread at home in 2025. Not only that, but they have dominated their conference rival, taking the last three meetings with Northern Illinois straight up, and overall, six of the last nine matchups straight up. They have covered five of the last nine as well. Speaking of the Huskies, they are 2-6 overall, which does include a 1-3 MAC record. By the way, they're also just 2-6 against the number on this season. They are winless on the road, going 0-4 away from home, failing to cover their last three road games. They rank 134th in scoring, averaging a dismal, 13.4 PPG. Their defense isn't bad, but they are very poor against the run. That has been their downfall. Opponents have been rushing the ball, controlling the tempo and the clock against them, wearing them down by the second half. Toledo has a solid offense, both in the air on the ground, and rank 48th in the nation in scoring, averaging 31.8 PPG. That would be enough for me here the side with the home team. However, their defense is also one of the best in the nation ranking 11th, and yielding only 16.0 PPG. They are just as tough against the pass they are against the rush. I believe they will absolutely shut down the Northern Illinois offense, while their offense wears down their opponents defense with the running game, and opens up the passing attack. If this line would've been a little bit lower, I would've released it as a premium play. But I still like it. Take Toledo. Thank you.
