Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: New York Yankees vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Play: Total: 9/-110 Over
Take the Over
Rotation #977
The Over makes sense today because both pitching situations point directly toward run production. The Phillies are turning to Brian Keller, a great story but a 32-year-old making his MLB debut, and debut arms almost always carry problems — nerves, short leashes, and command lapses that create early scoring chances. The Yankees have won four of five and bring a lineup that forces pitchers to work, even when they’re not piling up hits. On the other side, Ryan Weathers has been a consistent Over trigger against Philadelphia, posting a 9.53 ERA in three career appearances while allowing six homers in just 11.1 innings, including back-to-back Schwarber shots. He’s coming off a 99-pitch grind in under five innings, and his profile — high pitch counts, traffic, and home-run susceptibility — opens the door for crooked numbers. Add in two offenses looking to bounce back after a 1-0 opener, a debut arm, and a lefty the Phillies have repeatedly crushed, and this matchup sets up cleanly for the total to go Over.
