Let's go to the American League, where the Yankees travel to Progressive Field to face the Guardians. My friends, we all know how potent the New York lineup is, ranking at or near the top in every major category, particularly where it counts the most, scoring, where they average 5.65 runs per game. But the Cleveland lineup is starting to stride. First of all, the team took Game 1 of this series yesterday. That victory was their fourth consecutive win, in which their offense accounted for over 24 runs scored. Overall, their lineup is about middle of the road. But they struggled in the first few weeks of the season. They are really starting to pick up the pace now. They still average a respectable, 4.18 RPG. I think we can all agree neither pitching staff is looking too good right now. New York ranks 17th, with a team ERA of 4.10, while Cleveland ranks 13th with a team ERA of 3.98. Speaking of pitching, the Yankees send Will Warren to the hill. He is 1-0. But owns a whopping ERA a 5.17. The Guardians have Tanner Bibee taking the mound. He is just 1-2, also with a whopping ERA above five, with a 5.85 ERA. Just looking at the most recent matchups, eight of the last 10, going back to last April between these two teams have gone over the total. Overall, this season, they have combined for 24 overs in there 41 games played. I think this game flies over the total, as well. Thank you.
