Luke Weaver is scheduled to pitch here Friday vs the Yankees, and the Yankees will be licking their chops to get to the young kid. Weaver pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing seven hits, one walk, and one earned run while striking out six batters in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Marlins, but allowing eight baserunners in under six innings is not a good look. The Yankees bats have turned around as of late, and as of writing this on Monday, May 15th, the Yankees have seen eight straight games go over the posted total.
