Now guys, I dropped the Free Play on the First Family show yesterday after winning seven straight show free play releases. Today we start another win streak. So, let’s go to the National League where New York visits American Family Field to take on Milwaukee in Game 3 of this series. You know, after months in which they played great baseball all season long, the Mets should be in a position right now to coast until the end of the regular-season. However, having the Braves just one-game back in the NL East is not allowing them to do so. This is a team that’s running red-hot, winning six straight outings. This does include Games 1 and 2 of this series by a combined score of 14-7. Now I understand that Milwaukee is just outside the cusp of making the postseason, 2.5-games back of a Wildcard spot. You know they too have played good baseball for most of the season. And they’ve given St. Louis a real run for their money in the NL Central. Let’s face, for months now, this division has basically been a two-horse race. But going against a team that’s been ranked in the top-10 both offensively and on the mound since April, is not going to bode well for the Brewers. The Mets have been killing it. And today Taijuan Walker goes up against Adrian Houser. The New York right-hander is 12-4 on the campaign with a 3.42 ERA. Over his last three turns, he is 2-1 with a 3.26 ERA. And believe it or not, during day games he is a perfect 7-0 with an anemic 1.23 ERA. On the other hand, Houser comes off one of his poorest outings of the campaign, allowing for runs in just three innings pitched. But the team did get a win over the Yankees less than a week ago. Overall, on the campaign the Brewers right-hander owns a record of 6-9 with an ERA of 4.85. New York is 20-7 the last 27 versus the NL Central and 4-0 the last four the road. They are running red-hot, they need every win they can get, and they will continue they’re winning ways today. Take the Mets. Thank you.
