This is the Rate Bowl in Phoenix Arizona, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. New Mexico was 9-3, and Minnesota 7-5, but keep in mind the Gophers played in the much tougher Big 10, as opposed to the Lobos having a great year against the lesser talented Mountain West. Minnesota is 6-0 in their last 6 Bowl games under head coach P.J. Fleck, so the Gophers take these games seriously, and we think they come in very focused and prepared. They like to run the ball, and New Mexico does have a great defense but remember, that mostly against Mountain West competition. We like the Gopers to come in and do well here and win the Rate Bowl.
