Play: Point Spread: -16/-110 UTEP
The New Mexico State Aggies are on the road for the I-10 Rivalry game against the host UTEP Miners Saturday night. The Miners have dropped three of the last four meetings between these clubs. Prior to that they had dominated this series and currently have a record of 9-3 straight up and 7-3-2 against the spread versus the Aggies. Last season the Miners took out a little frustration on the Aggies defeating them 30 to 3. In that game the Miners defense would bend but not break as the New Mexico State offense entered the redzone four times and were turned away in each case.
New Mexico State is coming off another embarrassing loss this time against the Gophers of Minnesota losing 38 to 0. In that game the Aggies defense allowed 297 yards overland and another 188 through their passing attack.
The Miners are also coming in off a tough loss as the Sooners defeated them in Norman last week 45 to 13. UTEP threw for 288 yards in the loss with a 9.3 passing yards per attempt average. Their rushing attack was non-existent with a total of 28 yards which can be partially attributed to them falling behind and playing catch up.
Our TPR Index projects a point advantage of 18.2 points. The SIM Matrix has the UTEP Miners with a fifty-eight percent advantage against the oddsmakers number in this one.
A check of our powerful database reveals a system that is active for this contest. We want to play ON CFB home favorites of 11 to 25 points coming off a road straight up and against the spread loss as an underdog of more than seventeen points. Playing on these home favorites has produced a record of 31-13-2 ATS for 70.5 percent winners against the spread with an average line of -16.7 points per game.
With the advantage on both sides of the ball we look for the Miners to not only get their first win of the season but to also cover the spread against a terrible Aggies team. UTEP
Make sure you join them this week for all their college and pro football winners. Took the NFL title last season #1 with a record of 43-18 ATS (70.5%)(+$18,884).
