Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Nevada vs. UNLV
Friday, February 28, 2025 11:00 PM
Play: Point Spread: +2/-110 UNLV
Joe D is RUNNING HOT again. Today, I have 2 BIG WINNERS for you: BIG GAME NBA EASTERN CONFERENCE SHOWDOWN between CAVS/CELTICS and my BIG GAME NHL BEST BET. Get on my HOT STREAK & BURN YOUR BOOK. Friday's Free Winner: UNLV Runnin’ Rebels. Game 900 8:00 PM PST/11:00 PM EST. Nevada currently sits in the seventh spot in the Mountain West conference, while UNLV sits just above them in the sixth seed. Each team, following this contest has two more games remaining in the regular season, coincidentally both facing New Mexico and San Diego State. Both of those conference opponents rank in the top-four and want to keep their top-four seeding. Having said that, the Runnin’ Rebels have a chance, be it a slim chance, to qualify in the top-four if they win out their remaining games. But it all starts with a victory here. Yes, the Wolfpack have won and covered the last three meetings in this rivalry, which does include the only matchup this season back on February 1 at home, 71-65. But this team certainly struggles when they travel, going just 3-6 straight up as a visitor this season. Meanwhile, UNLV has done well at the Thomas & Mack Center, going 10-5 at home on the campaign. They enter this matchup a little hotter, winning four of their last five contests straight up, and three of those five against the spread. I think this is a very big revenge situation for the Rebels, who did drop that only meeting this season against the Wolfpack, and the last three as I mentioned earlier. They can exact a little revenge, and possibly better their situation for the upcoming conference tournament. Statistically, these two squads are very similar. So, I really do think this game comes down to coaching, preparation, momentum, and a home-court advantage. Giving UNLV points at home is a mistake. Take the Runnin’ Rebels. Thank you.
