Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Nebraska vs. Cincinnati
Thursday, August 28, 2025 9:00 PM
Play: Point Spread: +6.5/-110 Cincinnati
This should be an interesting nonconference measuring stick game for both these squads on the neutral site in KC as the Big 12 and Big Ten go head to head. Cincinnati has veteran players at key positions, so we’d expect the Bearcats to be fairly poised either way. It’s a little overlooked at times how strong Nebraska was on the DL last year, and this unit has taken a step back with key pieces gone. We feel there’s an argument that Cincinnati brings in the edge on the DL given they have stud DT Dontay Corleone. We also don’t feel there’s much separation between the QB/HB positions between these teams with veterans Sorsby and Walker on Cinnanti’s side and Raiola and Johnson being solid on Nebraska’s side. We give the slight overall talent edge to Nebraska, but it’s not enough in our opinion to warrant being favored by 6.5 points.
Lets back the Bearcats with the points on Thursday night.
