Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Missouri vs. Tennessee
Saturday, November 12, 2022 12:00 PM
Play: Point Spread: -19.5/-105 Tennessee
Joe D is public enemy #1 as he is wanted for murder. That’s right! And he is guilty. Guilty of killing sportsbooks and bookmakers. This Saturday he has a massacre planned for you in college football: 26-5 VEGAS INSIDER MOVE GAME OF THE MONTH, 100% BIG TEN GAME OF THE MONTH and his coveted, 29-10 ODDSMAKERS MISTAKE PLAY. Join him here but be aware you will also be WANTED FOR KILLLING THE BOOKS! Saturday’s FREE WINNER: Tennessee Volunteers. Game 142. 9:00 AM PST/12:00 PM EST. My friends, 20.5-points may seem like a lot of wood to lay for Tennessee against a game Missouri team. But I’m here to tell you, it isn’t nearly enough. The fifth-ranked Volunteers are sitting at 8-1. Yes, they dropped four-spots in the rankings this past week. But all four teams that sit in front of them are undefeated. Put a pin in that guys we will come back around to it. Following their first loss of the campaign, they know that if they keep their foot on the gas here, something’s got to give with one of the teams ahead of them in the national rankings. Thus, putting them in an ideal spot for at least consideration for the CFP. Getting them off their first loss of the campaign, a 27-13 defeat at the hands of the top-ranked Bulldogs, I expect this team to bounce back this week with a vengeance, redeem themselves, and show the pollsters what they are truly made of. I understand that Missouri had Georgia on the ropes back at the beginning of October. But that just tells me that’s the timing was right for the Tigers and wrong for the Vols. You know it was just a week ago that Missouri took a 21-17 loss at home at the hands of Kentucky, bringing them back down to Earth following victories over Vandy and South Carolina. Granted, they’ve got a pretty decent defense. But I still don’t see them stopping the well-balanced attack of Tennessee’s offense here. The Volunteers rank second nationally in scoring, lighting up scoreboards for over 43.3-points per game. No matter what happens, the Tigers just can’t put up that many points on any opponent. Their offense just isn’t built that way. And when you throw into the mix the fact that the Vols defense is pretty damn good themselves, I really like this matchup. UT owns one of the best “D’s” in the country at stopping the rush. I get it, they’re not too good at defending the pass. But the Mizzou “O” ranks 101st in passing. Also, folks for our purposes, Tennessee has been one of the most-bankable teams in college football this season, going 7-2 against the spread, which does include a 5-1 ATS mark at Neyland Stadium. They’ve also had their way with Missouri, winning and covering three straight in this rivalry. The most recent meeting, a little over a year ago, the Volunteers outscored the Tigers by 38-points. At 20.5 points, Tennessee is a bargain. Take the Volunteers to keep their foot on the gas and keep their name in the CFP running. Thank you.
