This is a play on the MINNESOTA TWINS for our Monday Free Play. After a slow start to the season, the Dodgers are heating up as following a series sweep against the Padres over the weekend, they have won five straight games and are 13-2 over their last 15. Los Angeles is laying a short number at home tonight and the public will be all over this one. The Twins won both of their series at home last week against the Padres and Cubs and head west with some solid momentum following a pair of wins over Chicago by a combined score of 27-4. Minnesota has won four of its last five games and currently sits in first place in the American League Central by 3.5 games over Cleveland. Pablo Lopez is in his first season in Minnesota after spending his first five seasons with the Marlins and he has been a great addition to the starting rotation as he has a 3.47 ERA and 1.07 WHIP through eight starts. He did have a couple rough outings at the end of April but has tossed two quality starts since then and he has allowed two runs or less in six of his eight starts. Noah Syndergaard gets the ball for the Dodgers after going just one inning in his last start after exiting with a cut on his right index finger which was just a week ago and could hinder him here. He has been all over the place as he has three quality starts to his credit but has also allowed six and seven runs in two other outings. His strikeout numbers are down severely as he has only four strikeouts over his last four starts and now faces a red hot offense. Play (973) Minnesota Twins
