FREE WINNER: Los Angeles Dodgers on the run line Another team slumps a little bit, no one raises an eyebrow. But when the Dodgers start to struggle, all you see are headlines. Yes, Los Angeles (59-43 overall) has dropped seven of their last 10, and is just 3.5-games ahead of San Diego in the National League West. But this is still one of the best teams in baseball. The Minnesota Twins are a mediocre team in a mediocre division. They sit in third place in the American League Central, 10.5-games back, at 49-52. Yes, they took Game 2 of this series yesterday, 10-7. But Los Angeles has certainly gotten the better of this Interleague rivalry, taking seven of the 10 overall meetings, going back several seasons. The Los Angeles lineup, which tops the Majors, averaging 5.31 runs per game is still scoring runs. It has been their pitching that has hurt them recently. But that won't be the case today as Tyler Glasnow takes the mound. The RH is 1-1 with a 3.10 ERA this season, having pitched very well in six of his seven turns. Chris Paddack takes the hill on the road. The RH is 3-9 with a 5.14 EA on the campaign. This season in his 20 starts, the team is just 5-15 behind him. His last two outings were absolutely deplorable, allowing a combined 11 earned runs in just 10.0 innings pitched. I think the difference in this matchup will be the starting pitchers. Lay the run and a half with the Dodgers.
