Drive will help Minnesota. This Minnesota team is a good young team with a good young coach. San Antonio has been an absolute disaster since 3.21.2023, they don't have much of anything to rely on, they do, on the other hand, need to try and keep possessions, at almost 12 offensive boards /game. But, there's a reason why the Timberwolves are looked at as a potential playoff team and the Spurs are in the cellar.
San Antonio has a small margin for error, as their defense lacks a lot, and they need to make sure they collapse on anyone who drives to the bucket - if they do - they could make this game much more difficult for Minnesota.
The Spurs have some guys who hit the glass and have a good shooting team inside the arc, but can they defend enough here? San Antonio has to use some semblance of team pride as their motivation to be able to get it done in games like this.
Minnesota wins by 16 or more points.
