They have taken three of five meetings SU this season with today's opponent. Going back a bit, they have also covered six of the last seven meetings. The Timberwolves are running hot, winning and covering their last five overall contests, which does include Game 1 of this series. But the Denver Nuggets don't drop too many games at the Ball Arena. And if you recall a season ago, they flew through the postseason with ease, earning them the NBA Championship. But as a handicapper and bettor, when you take a team like the Nuggets, which lost at home as a favorite in the series opener, I really do see them bouncing back here with authority and flexing their muscles. Granted, they have failed to cover the last three outings, and sometimes tend to get overvalued by oddsmakers. But the defending champs know that they must come back today and not just win, but win strongly. Don't forget this team is one of the most accurate shooting teams in the NBA, while possessing a top 10 defense in every major category.
