Army is a running school and last year they rush for over 3,800 yards while passing for just over 1,000 yards. Army scored 28.5 points per game a year ago as well as nearly 300 yards rushing per game. Army went 5-7 a year ago and lost to Navy 31-7 in the bowl game to end the year so they are chomping at the bit to get back on the field and turn their fortunes around. Middle Tennessee State went 4-8 a year ago and had over 2,800 yards passing and over 2,000 yards rushing to form a balanced attack. Look for a good back and forth game to kick off the season for these two teams, but with a lead Army will ground and pound in the second half limiting Middle Tennessee State's possessions in a 26-20 win for Army.
