The Marlins won game one 5-1 doubling the Cubs in hits 8-4 hitting a couple homeruns with guys on in the seventh. The Marlins are scrappy bunch and seemingly ahead of schedule as far as their rebuild. Darvish has made five starts against the Marlins in his career and is 2-1 with a 6.08 ERA. Darvish is in contention for NL Cy Young award with a 8-3 record and 2.01 ERA this season in 12 starts and went 5-3 at home with a 2.57 ERA in nine starts. In Darvish's last start he threw seven shutout innings over the White Sox scattering three hits and one walk while striking out five. Miami is throwing Sixto Sanchez who went 3-2 with a 3.46 ERA this season in seven starts and on the road made two starts and was 1-0 with a 4.00 ERA. Sanchez was 2-2 with a 4.00 ERA in five September starts and allowed four runs in three innings in his last start. Look for Sanchez to get into trouble early that he can't escape from allowing four runs in three innings again while Darvish is on point with six innings of one run ball in a 7-3 win for the Cubs.
