Play: Money Line: -160 Chicago Cubs
***8-1 OVERALL RUN, 5-1 MLB RUN L3 DAYS*** My baseball is really starting to heat up, winning five of my last six overall, and today, I continue my domination on the Diamond with my coveted, MLB NO LIMIT play, which are a perfect 100% this season, at 2-0. I also have another NBA SLAM DUNK WINNER, which are 1-0 in PLAY IN releases thus far. Get both and go 2-0.
Friday’s FREE WINNER: Chicago Cubs.
Game 902.
11:20 AM PST/2:20 PM EST.
My friends, I had this matchup as a paid release yesterday. Unfortunately, it was postponed. The reason why I'm not putting it out as a paid release again today is because the line is opening about $.20 more than it was yesterday. And as you know me, I can't put out a premium release of that high price. But a win is a win, and I felt it was a good game for a free play.
The Chicago Cubs are starting to heat up. They sit just a half-game behind the Milwaukee Brewers in the NL Central, at 11-7. I'm not big into clichés, however history does sometimes repeat itself. The Cubs are once again struggling a bit on the road. However, they are once again crushing it at home. Chicago is a very respectful, 5-1 at Wrigley Field this season, outscoring guests, 44-22. On the opposite side of the spectrum, the Miami Marlins are tied for the poorest record in the NL, at 4-15. I don't think anyone expects too much from this team this season. Not even the Marlins or their fans themselves (LOL). They enter today's matchup dropping six of their last nine, while their opponent comes in here winning four of their last five. It's true, these two League rivals have split out the last eight meetings in this series going back to September of 2022. But this is a different season and these are two very different teams. On the mound today will be A.J. Puk and Jameson Taillon. The Marlins left-hander is 0-3 with a 5.91 ERA on the campaign as the team has lost all of three of his outings. The Cubs right-hander is making his season debut. Over three career starts against today's opponent, he is perfect at 2-0, with an anemic ERA of 0.54. Both, on the mound at the plate, the hosts numbers are far superior. I do expect the Cubs fourth-ranked scoring lineup (5.61 RPG) to light up the scoreboard at home. I just don't see the visitor can keep pace. Take Chicago. Thank you.
