Memphis comes into this game fresh off a nice road win over Rice and so far are off to an excellent start to conference play out in the American. This Tigers squad doesn’t live up to the standards of olden times but Dug McDaniel is doing some good stuff and they are starting to look very capable of locking in on defense which is a big deal.
Florida Atlantic is fresh off a huge up in upset fashion at UAB but now they have to come home and try and lock in against a solid opponent. The Owls have a monster in Devein Vanterpool but their season long numbers are significantly inflated by the fact they have played such a weak schedule.
Take Memphis on the road in this one, the Tigers are 9-5 AS this season overall and are playing well and are catching the Owls in a tough letdown spot.
