Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: Marquette vs. North Carolina
Thursday, March 17, 2022 4:30 PM
Play: Point Spread: 3.5/-105 Marquette
The Tar Heels are explosive offensively, but Marquette is defensively and long suited to defend them. The Golden Eagles held Big East opponents to 31% from beyond the arc and all opponents to 53% on attempts at the rim which ranked them 29th nationally. Marquette finished on a downer, but this is the same team that knocked off Illinois, Villanova (twice) and Providence. NC has a first-year coach, and a ton of expectations to deal with and I like Marq's chances to pull an upset here on THursday evening.
